https://soundation.com/t/drdio This week I did another multimedia project using sound. Instead of picking a song for a slide show, I actually made one from scratch. This project troubled me a little more than the other ones. I liked doing this project even though it seemed to be much easier for everyone else. I like to make music and I have used various different music software such as FL Studio, Logic, Pro tools, and garageband. Trying to make a song using system loops was new for me and kind of trouble because I wanted elements of the song to sound a certain way. I also struggled to make my sounds blend together. This project was still fun despite my troubles because I enjoy music, I wish I had time to use the premium account instead of the free trial for the week.

This week I did a project based on Typology. Typologies were inspired by the work of Hilla and Bernd Becher. I created this typology using Pixlr Advance Photo Editing. I have used Pixlr editing applications before but this is the first time I used the advanced site. I enjoyed doing this project because I got to  use some of my favorite shirts from my closet. The only challenging part about this assignment was trying to make sure that I took identical pictures from identical angles. This has been my favorite turn out from my artistic projects so far this semester.

This week I put together a project for Urban Landscape in the city of Toledo. This is a 30 second video previewing some of the shots I took while I was in the city. I used soft uplifting music to give the project a calm and relaxed feel. The music I chose also helps you focus more on the pictures because it is not a popular and distracting song. I took about 40 pictures while completing this project but I only really like the ones previewed on the short video. For this picture I made the perspective very strong as an attempt to blur out the other objects in the background. I also used a B&W effect with an emphasis on red.
